TVXQ to Release Fifth Single Album in Japan

Korean boy band TVXQ is set to release its fifth single “Rising Sun/Heart, Mind and Soul” on April 19 in another move aimed at sweeping Japan.

The group already released its first feature album “Heart, Mind and Soul” and special DVD “TVXQ’s History in Japan vol. 1” on March 23, which ranked eighth and seventh on the Oricon Album and Music Chart, respectively. It also published its first artist book “Tomorrow – 000777 Days” on March 25.

The new single album will come in two versions — a CD bundled with DVD and the CD alone. The DVD will feature the music video clip of “Rising Sun” and interviews with the members. The package that comes with the CD alone will include an a cappella version of “Heart, Mind and Soul.”

In addition to the planned new single and DVD, the group will release another DVD on May 10. The remake of the “All about TVXQ” DVD already released in Korea shows the band’s performances in Korea. It will feature music videos of some 18 songs including “Hug” and “Beautiful Life,” interviews with group members, scenes from their daily lives, and special events the group has held for fans.
