The five-man group SS501 will hold its first concert at the Olympic Park in Seoul on July 22, its agency DSP Entertainment said Tuesday.
Subtitled “Step Up,” the concert will mark the beginning of the group’s national tour to Busan, Daegu, Daejeon, Jeonju and Suwon that will end on August 26. It will perform not only its hit songs such as “Warning,” “Fighter,” and “Snow Prince,” but also its new songs to be included in its first feature album to be released in August. Each member will also unveil his individual talents at the concert.
“The concert will be an opportunity for SS501 to show its improvement as a singing group, as the subtitle “Step Up” indicates,” DSP Entertainment said.
Meanwhile, the group plans to make inroads into Japan, with a concert scheduled In Osaka on Sept. 16-17 as a start. To that end, its agency opened a branch office in Osaka in June and will open another one in Tokyo next month.
