Not being a huge trot fan, I thought that I was most likely not going to like this album. Although this album wasn’t as disappointing as I thought, I have heard catchier and nicer trot songs before. One song that did sound fine was her title song “꽃단장.” It had a nice upbeat tune and after listening to it awhile it was likeable. Surprisingly, I had a favorite song from the album. 하리오
was a very different and nice surprise to the album. Starting out with a little traditional melody and growing into a beautiful cultural song, I really thought it showcased Lee Na Young’s vocals well. To add more, I love the “old” feel to the song because it reminds me of the old Chinese/Korean songs that were played in the older movies and that is why the song quickly became my favorite. Though the album wasn’t as great as I would have liked it to be, the beats to the music were nicely carried out and I see potential for Lee Na Young. Despite the fact that not a lot of people like trot and that this album wasn’t one of the very best ones out there, I did enjoy it to a certain extent.
