2NE1’s "I Don’t Care" is 2009 Cyworld Best Hit Song


The newcomer group which took the K-Pop world by storm last year, 2NE1, had its first mini-album title song “I Don’t Care” announced as Cyworld’s 2009 Best Hit Song.

According to Cyworld’s 2009 Annual Popular Song Chart, 2NE1‘s “I Don’t Care” is number one. The song is composed and written by YG Entertainment producers Teddy and Stony Skunk,
and has been revealed in various versions like electronic, house,
unplugged and musical versions.

Other than 2NE1’s “I Don’t Care”, the Big Bang-2NE1 collaboration “Lollipop” is at number five on the chart, while Park Bom’s solo song “You &
I” placed eleventh. 2NE1’s first single “Fire” is fourteen, and “In The Club” is
at #36. CL and Minji’s duet song “Please Don’t Go” is at #65 while “Let’s Go Party” is at #96 on the chart – with seven songs from the group up
on the top 100 rankings.

This is YG’s third consecutive year at #1 on the annual chart. In
2007, Big Bang took the top spot with “Lies”, and in 2008, they were first again with “Haru Haru”.
