The Korean-American actor Daniel Henney has been confirmed to be part of the A-list cast of “Fugitive,” an upcoming drama series. Henney is the latest actor to be cast alongside Rain, Lee Na-young, and Lee Jung-jin.
A representative from his agency has been quoted as saying:
“We are happy that Henney will be appearing in a high-quality drama that will be a collaboration between the best director and writer. Daniel Henney is focusing on studying his character and is highly looking forward to meeting viewers on the small screen for the first time in a long while.”
The screenwriter of the series has also revealed that he wrote the character with Henney in mind, describing the character to be having “a cold-blooded charisma underneath a warm smile.”
Henney had risen to fame with the 2005 hit drama “My Name is Kim Sam-Soon.” He broke into the American entertainment industry with his supporting role as Agent Zero in “X-Men Origins: Wolverine.” “Fugitive” is his first drama after a four-year hiatus in the Korean entertainment industry.
“Fugitive” is set for a September premiere.
