Korea’s Sweetheart Park Bo Young Transforms into a Horror Queen


 Actress Park Bo Young, who rose to fame with mega-hit “Speed Scandal” (2008), has starting filming a new movie. It’s been two years since her last project, but she has finally decided on horror movie “Unconfirmed Video.” She started filming on March 3rd at JeonJu. Director Kim Tae Kyung, who has made other horror movies like “Dead Friend” (2004) and “Muoi” (2007), is onboard the project, as well as actors Joo Won and Kang Byul.. The movie is about two sisters who come across a cursed video. Park’s character Sehee struggles to save her sister from the curse. Joo Won, who shot to stardom with KBS2’s “Baker King Kim Tak Gu” (2010), stars as Sehee’s boyfriend Joon Hyuk, and Kang Byul of MBC’s “Kim Suro” (2010) plays Sehee’s sister Jung Mi Ro.     

Park Bo Young debuted on SBS’s drama “The King and I” (2007) and also participated in “Our School E.T.” (2008) with Lee Min Ho from “Boy’s Before Flowers”, “the ESP Couple” (2008), and “Speed Scandal” (2008). She solidified her popularity with “Speed Scandal,” and now fans are earnestly waiting for her new movie to come out.
