Jang Geun Suk’s The Cri Show – First Stop Singapore!

On April 23rd, actor/singer Jang Geun Suk kicked off his 2011 Asian tour The Cri Show at Singapore. The event took place at the University Cultural Centre and sold over 1,500 tickets. Jang Geun Suk’s The Cri Show is not an average concert or fan meeting – it’s a hybrid of both. He sang his first Japanese single “Let Me Cry” and followed it with “Please Look After My Bus,” “Hello Hello,” “My Precious,” and songs from his drama “Mary Stayed Out All Night.” He also answered questions from his fans.

The fans’ love and support were evident even before the event. Singaporean fans flocked to the airport on April 22nd to catch a glimpse of Jang Geun Suk almost immobilizing the area. The multitalented star was especially touched when he realized that his fans personally prepared his escort/ride services to and from the airport. At the fan signing event later that day, his fans swooned as he reenacted a scene from “Mary Stayed Out All Night” by singing a song while holding flowers.

Jang Geun Suk tried to return his fans’ supports by preparing various events throughout the show. Some of the special events included coming down from the stage and handing out flowers and handing out cookies as he signed autographs. He commented, “It’s been so long since I’ve caught up with my fans in Singapore, and I had a lot of fun. I’m really grateful for my fans who have done so much for me. I hope this concert has lasting memories on them.” Actor, singer, and model Jang Geun Suk is known to be extremely attentive and interactive with his fans.
