BEAST Performs Surprise Concert in Japan

BEAST surprised over 5,000 Japanese fans with a concert at the Shinjuku Station Square in Tokyo on June 14th.  The event was in celebration of the release of BEAST’s second Japanese single, “BAD GIRL.”

“Our new single goes on sale so please show your support,” Dongwoon was quoted as saying in Japanese.  “BAD GIRL” went on sale on June 15th.

The six-member all-male group made their official Japanese debut in early May with the release of “SHOCK.”  The track peaked at second place on the Oricon weekly chart in mid-March.

A statement from BEAST’s agency Cube Entertainment reported the details of the event.  Member Doojun was absent from the June 14th performance as he was in Korea shooting for the MBC sitcom “All My Love.”

BEAST, composed of members Dongwoon, Doojun, Hyunseung, Yoseob, Kikwang and Junhyung, is also currently wrapping up promotions in Korea for their first full-length album “Fiction or Fact.”  After another round of promotions in Japan, the group will head to Malaysia in July to kickoff the first leg of their Asian fan
