Kang Ji Hwan Will Star in a Film Adaptation of a Manhwa

Kang Ji Hwan returns to the movie screen. He is poised to take the lead role in “Tomorrow’s News,” which is about a pair of siblings who find a radio that reports the next day’s news. The duo are initially just entertained by the news, but find themselves wanting to get involved in changing the future.

“Tomorrow’s News” is based on a manhwa.  Mirovision’s Jason Chae will produce the project to be directed by Derek Son with a script from Lee Won Jae. Shooting is expected to begin in August, with a target release date in early 2012.

Kang Ji Hwan joins the project coming off his turn as the haughty hotel owner Hyun Ki Joon opposing Yoon Eun Hye in the current airing SBS drama “Lie to Me.”
