BEAST Announces the "K-POP Star Hunt" Event in Taiwan


The boys of BEAST visited Taiwan the third time on July 22nd; besides holding fan meeting two days in a row, they announced the audition event “K-POP Star Hunt” at the press conference, which will be held by tvN channel and Cube Entertainment, to look for next K-Pop star in Asia!

The boys interacted with fans by playing games at the fan meeting and sang a total of 9 songs, including “Special” and “Breath.” 5,000 seats were all filled with enthusiastic fans.


At the press conference, members greeted everyone in Mandarin. When asked about when will they be holding concert in Taiwan, they responded, “We are thrilled to see so many fans in Taiwan. We do not have plans yet, but we will have concert here when there is a chance, for sure.”

The biggest news announced at the press conference was the audition event held by tvN channel and Cube Entertainment, “K-POP Star Hunt.” Working together, the two are looking for the next BEAST or 4minute! Shout out to K-Pop fans in Hong Kong, Philippines, Taiwan, Singapore and Thailand, the once in a life time chance to become a star is right here. Open for young K-Pop fans from age 14~24 only in these five countries. Starting from August 15th, all you have to do is upload a video of your best performance on tvN official event site. The winner will get the chance to be a trainee at Cube Entertainment to become the next K-Pop star, and the whole competition will be documented by tvN as a series of survival reality program aired throughout Asia.
