“I try to work out whenever I have time. Usually I run the treadmill for 40 minutes and lift weights for another 20 minutes. Recently I lost about 13 kg in three weeks by working out,” Ji Sung told local media. “Also, I often eat at the SBS studio’s cafeteria, and they have a very strict low-calorie menu, making it easier for me to watch my weight.”
A close friend of Ji Sung also said, “When Ji Sung runs the treadmill, he maxes out. I used to run on my school’s team but it’s almost impossible to keep up with his energy.” The friend added, “’Protect the Boss’ involves a lot of action scenes compared to other shows, but the reason Ji Sung has been able to pull through is because of his effort to stay in shape.”
Meanwhile, “Protect the Boss,” featuring JYJ’s Jaejoong and actress Choi Kang Hee, has received a lot of support from fans recording a 12.6% TV rating for its first episode on August 3rd and 14.7% for the second episode.
