Han Ye Seul’s boycott in the middle of shooting of her most recent drama, the recently concluded “Spy Myung Wol” on KBS has sparked intense reaction and discussion on the current state of drama productions. Heat on the issue has died down since the incident, but it seems like concerned parties are taking a second and longer look.
Han Ye Seul, along with singer Tae Jin Ah, are requested to attend an inquiry to be conducted by the National Assembly (NA.)
Reports say the Ministry of Culture and Broadcasting met on September 6 and elected Han Ye Seul and Tae Jin Ah to give testimonies to the NA inquiry. The actress will be asked to give statements on the filming of “Spy Myung Wol” and the current drama environment. As Chairman of the Korean Singers Association, Tae Jin Ah is also asked to testify on singers’ standard contracts and their related issues.
No date has been set for the two personalities to give their respective testimonies.
