Brian Joo is working his amazing vocals in the current stage play “RENT”. The question is, could he be working his vocal cords a little too hard? The Fly To The Sky member tweeted fans during one of his medical treatments for his throat. Below is one of the singer’s recent messages to the Twittersphere:
“… at the voice doctor getting an IV shot cause of my messed up throat. Have 4 shows in a row this week”
He along with his fellow cast members are acting and singing their hearts out in the Korean version of the popular Broadway musical at the KBS Hall in Yeoido. Despite his obvious passion for music and love for the audience, I’m pretty sure he is breathing a sigh of relief that he can finally rest his vocals for just a little while.
Brian’s beloved fans responded to his medical message with the following: “Take care yourself na ka. Wish you get well quickly^^ #PrayforBrianJoo”, “stay strong! you will be blessed by us fans and will be alright!! Hwaiting!” and “get some rest while you can”.
What are his plans for life after the Broadway lights? Possibly relax, catch a few Zs, and host a television program entitled “Wave K”! This was his tweet on September 29: “Update: @eru_Ndrew [Sunghyun Cho] & myself will be hosting a new music program called “Wave K” on ArirangTV & OBS-TV, for everyone around the world^^ Stay tuned for more updates~”
The star may be feeling a little “under the weather”, but he didn’t forget to thank fans for supporting one of his favorite contestants on the popular singing competition SuperStar K 3: “Those who’ve been watchin SuperStar K3, “wanted to thank y’all for supporting @esnathesinger [Esna]…My junior who made it to the Top 24,” stated Brian.
After Brian Joo recooperates, wraps up his play and begins “Wave K”, will you be a dedicated viewer of his new Arirang/OBS-TV?
