What Do Boyfriend, Big Bang, SHINee, Super Junior, and Infinite Have in Common?

For tonight’s episode of KBS’s “Music Bank,” Boyfriend is preparing a special stage that is sure to warm up the hearts of fans from all ages. They have been given the honor to perform the iconic kpop song of all time, “Candy”(1996) by H.O.T.

Yesterday, STARSHIP Entertainment uploaded a video of Boyfriend seeking advice from non-other-than Tony of h.o.t. In the video, Tony commented, “Visually, you guys look very fresh and pure. We were about your age when we sang ‘Candy.’” He continued, “You don’t have to try so hard to dance. Just have fun and be energetic.”

Tony shared some pointers for the choreography’s highlights, doing the moves on the spot, and showed his affection for the group, praising them throughout.

While “Candy” was released more than a decade ago, it’s still one of the most popular kpop songs around. Come winter months, boy bands – Big Bang, SHINee, Super Junior, and Infinite just to name a few – can’t help but get their puffyy jackets out as they sing and dance to the happy-go-lucky song.

Check out their performances below! Which group do you think performed it best?
