Wonder Girls’ Sunye Leads By Example

On January 2, a video showing Sunye’s caring leadership was posted online. In the video titled, “Sunye switching chairs with Sohee,” Sunye is seen replacing Sohee’s broken chair with hers in order to prevent any potential on-stage accidents.

The video was recorded during the rehearsals for “2011 SBS Gayo Daejun” held on December 29. The Wonder Girls were preparing for a performance involving chair choreography. Sunye went through each seat to ensure they’re all strong enough to hold the members, but she discovered Sohee’s chair was slightly slanted. She tried to replace it with a new one, only to find out there’s no extra seats available. Contemplating what to do, Sunye just went on to take her own seat and put it in Sohee’s place, taking the broken seat for Sohee’s safety.

Netizens who saw the clip commented, “Sunye is so nice,” “It’s good to see her lead by example,” “She’s such a great leader,” and “Her face shows her warm heart.”

Meanwhile, the Wonder Girls announced yesterday that their new Teen Nick movie, “The Wonder Girls,” will first air on February 2. The music video for the OST will be released at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas on January 11.
