Kim Ha Neul and Jang Dong Gun have been confirmed as leads for upcoming SBS drama “A Gentleman’s Dignity,” written by “Secret Garden’s” screenwriter Kim Eun Sook. The drama made headlines early on by casting Korea’s top actor Jang Dong Gun, making “A Gentleman’s Dignity” his first small screen appearance in 12 years. The drama is also Kim Ha Neul’s first drama since 2010 and the second time she works with Kim Eun Sook. Back in 2008, she starred in Kim Eun Sook’s drama “On Air.” “A Gentleman’s Dignity” will tell the love story of four good-looking, single men in their forties.
Kim Ha Neul stated, “I’m so glad to have gotten the chance to work with ‘On Air’s” screenwriter Kim Eun Sook and director Shin Woo Chul again.” Jang Dong Gun added, “I was busy with my movie activities in China, but the crew [of “A Gentleman’s Dignity”] reworked the schedules to fit with mine. I was able to decide on this drama because of my trust in the script and the crew.”
Kim Suro, Kim Min Jong, Yoon Se Ah, Kim Min, and others will join Kim Ha Neul and Jang Dong Gun in the series. “A Gentleman’s Dignity” will air this coming May.
