R&B singer Yoon Gun alluded to working with Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun for his upcoming new single.
On February 9, the current Brown Eyes member tweeted, “I included a pure and clear ringing voice of a young lady,” with a picture of a sweet potato (see below). As many of you know already, Seohyun is well-known for her love for sweet potatoes.
On the same day, coincidentally or not, SM Entertainment’s official Facebook page uploaded a mysterious photo with the caption, “Girls’ Generation’s maknae Seohyun has a fun collaboration ready. Are you excited? With the owner of that red neck-warmer sitting on the window frame….” In the photo you can see an oversized red muffler next to a black-and-white image of Seohyun holding a mic.
Netizens commented, “Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun and Yoon Gun? Wow,” “The song must be good if Yoon Gun wrote it,” “Seohyun does have a clear ringing voice.”
Yoon Gun is an R&B singer that first rose to fame through the duet group Brown Eyes in 2001. Formed in collaboration with Brown Eyed Soul’s Naul, Brown Eyes enjoyed massive success until the group disbanded in 2002. However, the two reunited in 2008 as a project group and released their third album together.
