Uhm Tae Woong Confirmed for “The Equator Man”

Oh Ji Ho is out, and Uhm Tae Woong is in. It’s been announced that Uhm Tae Woong has been confirmed as the male lead for upcoming KBS drama “The Equator Man.” A representative from the drama’s production team stated, “Uhm Tae Woong has been confirmed to play the male lead Kim Sun Woo.” 

The “Equator Man” will be Uhm Tae Woong’s first small screen project since SBS’sDoctor Champ” back in 2010. In the upcoming series, he will play Kim Sun Woo, a man who had a difficult youth, growing up in an orphanage, but eventually becomes a highly successful CEO.

“The Equator Man” will wrap up its casting sometime next week and begin filming by the end of this month. Uhm Tae Woong’s “The Equator Man” is the follow-up to Lee Dong Wook’sWild Romance” and will premiere on March 14.
