The Brown Eyed Girls reached the French audience through the comedy movie “Les Tuche.” The film was released last year. Brown Eyed Girls’ “Abracadabra” appears in a club scene for the movie. The two main characters are at a club and “Abracadabra” plays in the background. The main character goes to the DJ, hands him a CD and asks that the song be changed.
“Les Tuche” is about a family that wins the lottery and has a huge change in their life. The famous actor Jean-Paul Rouve appears in the film. Currently the Korean media does not know who on the movie production team was responsible for putting K-Pop in the movie. However, what we do know for sure is that Brown Eyed Girls’ agency Nega Network received the request and gave permission.
A representative of Nega Network stated, “We received an official request to have the music appear in the film. At the time last year, the Brown Eyed Girls members were very intrigued at the thought of ‘Abracadabra’ appearing in a movie.”
