DSP Boy Band Group to Debut in May

It has been nearly five years since DSP Media have released a male idol group. Past boy band acts by DSP Media include Sechs Kies and SS501.

The official name for the new group has been decided but it will be revealed when the faces and profiles of the members have been revealed. Currently they are using the temporary name of “DSP Boyz.” The group will first be revealed through MBC Music’s reality program “Making the Star.”

The direction of “DSP Boyz” is supposed to be a traditional idol group focused on visuals that will fit in with DSP’s reputation. DSP Media will use their “know-how” and experience of making successful boy band groups such as Sechs Kies or SS501.
