SHINee proved themselves as true Hallyu stars by sweeping Taiwanese music charts without having an official promotion. SHINee’s mini album “Sherlock” was ranked at the top of the G-Music Asia Chart, the FIVE MUSIC Korean-Japanese Music Chart, and the Kwongnan Korean-Japanese Music Chart.
Moreover, “Sherlock” was also ranked third at the overall G-Music Chart, which tallies up the album sales of all genres of music that has been released in Taiwan. SHINee was also ranked at the top on Taiwan’s most well-known radio chart, HIT FM Asia Music Chart, on April 29.
Currently, SHINee is in the middle of “The First Japan Arena Tour – SHINee World 2012.” They have successfully performed in Fukuoka and Hokkaido on April 25 and 29. They are currently diligently preparing for the upcoming shows in Nagoya. Through “The First Japan Arena Tour – SHINee World 2012,” SHINee will be holding 20 separate concerts in seven different cities in Japan until July 1. On May 16, SHINee is releasing the Japanese version of “Sherlock,” continuing the “Sherlock” hype in Japan.
