On June 9, tickets for Big Bang’s Indonesian concert were sold out with an explosive response according to YG Entertainment toady on June 12. The process also caused servers to crash. Detik.com reported, “Tickets for Big Bang’s exclusive concert were sold out in 10 minutes on Ticket.com. On ‘My Ticket’ all of the tickets were sold out in 10 minutes, and when ticket sales opened, 50,000 users logged on within 30 seconds causing a server crash.”
According to YG Entertainment, “Due to the complaints from fans that were not able to purchase tickets because of the competition, concert representatives from Indonesia are requesting that Big Bang do more concerts.”
Currently, Big Bang is in the midst of their Japanese Arena Tour. Also, they recently released a special edition “Still Alive” album. The Indonesian concert will be held on October 13.
