Lee Jun Ki of “Arang and the Magistrate”: “No Matter What You Imagine, I Will Show You Even More”


After the broadcast of “I Do I Do” on July 11 for about 25 seconds, the first trailer for “Arang and the Magistrate” was shown. “Arang and the Magistrate” will begin broadcasting on August 15. For the drama, Lee Jun Ki will play the haggardly magistrate “Eun Oh,” while Shin Min Ah will play the virgin ghost “Arang.”

To commemorate the first trailer of “Arang and the Magistrate,” Lee Jun Ki made a tweet on July 11, “Today after the broadcast of ‘I Do I Do,’ the teaser for ‘Arang and the Magistrate’ will be revealed.”

Then after there were complements sent to his tweet, he tweeted again on July 12, “If you have watched the tweet, then show me your strength. No matter what you imagine, I will show you even more. 8.15.” (8.15 is the date of the first broadcast)

“Arang and the Magistrate” is based on the Arang legend. The drama is about the magistrate “Eun Oh” that can see ghosts and “Arang” who does not know how she died. The drama is a Joseon period, fantasy romance.
