If SISTAR‘s Hyorin had to pick a different girl group member to work with, she would choose Secret‘s Han Sunhwa.
Hyorin attended a press conference for the SBS “2012 Gayo Daejun” and when she was asked, “Who would you chose from a different girl group to work with?” she answered, “I am pulled toward Secret’s Sunhwa.”
SBS will air its “2012 Gayo Daejun” on December 29 and will feature special project performances. Different members from different idol groups will be put together to make four collaboration groups for a special project performance.
Some of these members include: Infinite‘s Woohyun and Hoya, 2AM‘s Jo Kwon and Jinwoon, MBLAQ‘s G.O and Lee Joon, Teen Top‘s Niel and L. Joe, BEAST‘s Kikwang and Yoseob, SISTAR’s Hyorin and Bora, 4minute‘s HyunA and Gayoon, Secret’s Hyosung and Sunhwa, After School‘s Lizzy and Nana and Kara‘s Nicole and Kang Ji Young.
Hyorin revealed the reason why she picked Sunhwa. “We are the same age and we are pretty close. After School members are too tall for me. Sunhwa has a great personality and I think it’d be fun if we worked together. I feel like we could make a lot of good memories while we practice.”
Each of the four collaboration groups will perform a new track, which will have a special theme for each team. The themes are “Dynamic Black” (written by Shinsadong Tiger), “Dramatic Blue” (written by Sweet Tune), “Dazzling Red” (written by Brave Brothers) and “Mystic White” (written by Kim Do Hoon).
Hyorin commented, “I think it will be very new. There have been many units and attempts to show new sides for each group. But I think the fact that all these different members from different groups coming together to form one team in itself will be very new,” and “I think it will be a good memory for us too. We will work hard to prepare for the stage.”
The four different theme tracks will be revealed on November 4 on “Inkigayo.” Viewers will be able to vote for the theme track that each collaboration group will perform. These four different theme tracks will be released after the “2012 Gayo Daejun” and all proceeds will go toward charity.
