Juniel is fast becoming the next top singer-songwriter in K-Pop! The young rookie songstress has just released her second mini-album, “1&1,” with the title track “Bad Man” on Nov. 20. This is her follow-up release to her successful debut mini-album “My First June” in June.
After “Bad Man” came out, the track has hit the top of online music charts including Melon and Bugs. Other tracks from the album, “Boy” and “Happy Ending,” all has ranked in the top five.
Noteworthy of Juniel’s most recent release are her self-composed songs, “Oh! Happy Day” and “Cat’s Day,” which she wrote and completed when she was only 16 years old. “Boy” is also her composition.
Music industry observers remarked that Juniel’s fresh beauty, guitar-playing and songwriting skills set her apart from other rookies. She is also gaining attention for her ability to evoke delicate feelings through her acting in music videos.
Juniel is scheduled to make her music show comeback on KBS’ “Music Bank” on Friday, Nov. 23.
