Teen Top Proves Growing Popularity in Vietnam

On November 28, Teen Top visited Vietnam for the special episode of MBC “Music Core” celebrating the 20th anniversary of Korea-Vietnam diplomatic relations. Teen Top was welcomed by a large group of excited fans, proving their growing popularity in Vietnam.

Vietnamese fans followed around Teen Top throughout their schedule wearing purple t-shirts and carrying around purple slogan towels, showing their undying love and support for the idol group. These fans also prepared gifts for their favorite K-pop artist. They were able to hand these gifts to Teen Top in person after the group’s official press conference, when they had a chance to have a short, but meaningful, interaction with each other.

Korean netizens and fans commented on Teen Top’s popularity in Vietnam, “Teen Top ruling Asia! I’m so proud of you guys,” “I didn’t realize you guys were so popular in Vietnam,” “Now let’s take over the world, Teen Top. I’m always supporting you,” and “Good luck with your performance and please come back home safely.”

Meanwhile, a total of 17 K-Pop artists will be starring in this special episode of MBC “Music Core” along with Teen Top. The show will be airing on December 8 at 4pm KST.
