On November 30, ballad singer K-Will met with the press in Hong Kong at a press conference for the “Mnet Asian Music Awards” (MAMA) in which he was attending as a nominee. In this press conference, over 220 media sources were represented by 350 journalists.
At the conference he said, “I am very happy to be part of such an internationally famous huge event.”
When asked about any future overseas activities he answered, “I knew that there would be some annoying questions” in a joking manner.
He continued seriously, “Even though I have never promoted overseas, I’m leaning towards it more because I enjoy the foreign interest. That’s why I’m becoming very proud of the idea of representing Korea as part of the K-Pop trend. Even though I haven’t promoted abroad, I am surprised by how foreigners know who I am and enjoy my music. I am half worried and half anticipating for MAMA, but I am also excited.”
MAMA will air live in Hong Kong on November 30.
