Girls’ Generation’s “V Concert” Immobilizes Seoul’s Most Popular Subway Station

The Girls’ Generation immobilized the surrounding area of the Gangnam subway station when they staged their live “V Concert” at the M Stage on January 5.

Despite the cold wave warning from the weather forecast, fans were waiting outside 3 to 4 hours in the freezing weather earlier than the start of the concert.

The “V Concert” was a designed to render a realistic hologram-themed concert. The Girls’ Generation performed their brand new album title track “I Got a Boy” and another new single “Dancing Queen.”

As well as for their performance, the Girls’ Generation showed the makings of their music video, photos, and they also talked about several episodes that they encountered upon while they were preparing for their comeback.

Through the nation’s popular web portal Naver, the “V Concert” was televised live all throughout the world and so fans who were not able to attend the concert were able to enjoy the performances as well.

Girls’ Generation completed their first weekend of comeback performances, finishing with their performance on SBS Inkigayo.
