DBSK’s Yunho recently got into character and hit the ice rink as a hockey player for his latest drama “Night King.”
He currently plays the role of second generation chaebol Baek Do Hoon, who harbors romantic feelings for Soo Ae as a younger eligible bachelor. He will make his first appearance in character on the second episode of SBS’s “Night King” on January 15.
In Yunho’s scene, a hockey game between rival schools Dong Hwa University and Kyung Shin University takes place, where Do Hoon and his teammates are competing in the final match against Kyung Shin University.
During the twenty hour long filming session for the hockey game scene, Yunho impressed both the staff and visiting Kyung Hee University hockey team players with his quick dexterity and agility on ice.
On the topic of his involvement in a new drama production Yunho stated, “It’s been a long time since I’ve been able to partake in a drama, so I’m very nervous. But as a rookie actor, I will give it my all. Having the opportunity to work with veteran actors makes me very happy. I’d also like to thank the fans who came out to support us even through the cold weather.”
“Night King” recently received an 8.0% viewership rating (Nielsen Korea) for its first episode that aired on January 14.
