Netizens Defend Yoo Jae Suk from Being Criticized Unfairly for Alleged “Bad Manners”

On the most recent episode of MBC “Infinity Challenge,” cast members of the show transformed into taxi drivers and approached people for its “One Spectacular Day” special. During this episode, Yoo Jae Suk went to a driver’s diner for lunch. After he parked his cab, he got off the car and greeted every other taxi driver with firm handshakes and a warm smile. He continued his conversation with one of the drivers hanging out in front of the diner and later Gil joined the conversation.

Although this particular scene seems rather innocent and friendly, several netizens are criticizing Yoo Jae Suk for an alleged bad attitude, because he had his hands in his pockets throughout the conversation. A netizen captured this particular scene and pointed out, “He’s being extremely rude for having his hands in his pockets during this conversation.” This person compared Yoo Jae Suk’s “bad manners” with Gil’s “good manners,” because Gil is standing with his hands politely put together in front of him.

While these captured images have the extremely malicious intention of defaming Yoo Jae Suk, the particular scene did not seem problematic to many other viewers and fans. Many defended Yoo Jae Suk, “It’s amazing how so many people try so hard to see the tiniest flaw in Yoo Jae Suk,” “I feel bad for him. He has to care about these minute things because of all the haters,” “Well does he need your permission to breathe?” and “If this is not a witch hunt, then what is?”
