The entire staff of SBS “That Winter, The Wind Blows” will go on a vacation to Cebu, Philippines. This vacation trip for all staff members, actors, and actresses is funded by the production company of the drama to celebrate the successful production of half the drama before it started airing and to thank all the people who put the best of their efforts into making everything possible.
According to a staff member, director Kim Gyu Tae‘s exceptional leadership on the set allowed the drama to spend fewer days filming. In drama production, the number of days filming often affects the cost of production directly. By shortening the period of filming, “That Winter, The Wind Blows” saved on production costs.
CEO Cho Jung Ho of the production company Wind Blows commented, “Rather than thinking that the company is sending them on a vacation, I would say that the staff made this vacation trip possible. Along with many other staff members who fought through this brutal winter with their heated passion, Director Kim Gyu Tae used the minimum amount of time to make the best quality [drama]. I wanted to give them the proper vacation they deserve.”
Except for a few staff members and actors who are scheduled to film or work, the entire staff, actors and actresses, director Lee Gyu Tae, and writer Noh Hee Kyung will go on a vacation to Cebu for five days.
