It has been reported that the sexual assault charges against Click-B‘s Kim Sang Hyuk have been dropped.
On May 31, the Gangnam Police Station stated that the female civilian who accused Kim Sang Hyuk of sexual assault has dropped charges.
On the previous day, the female civilian received a sincere apology from Kim Sang Hyuk and then decided to drop charges.
Kim Sang Hyuk’s sources spoke with StarToday and said, “Kim Sang Hyuk met up with the accuser yesterday and cleared up the misunderstandings, which made her decide to clear charges.”
It is reported that the agreement didn’t involve any money but was purely reached by conversation.
One particular news source reported that Kim Sang Hyuk thought the female civilian was someone he knew out of his drunken state and grabbed her hand. The female civilian was with her boyfriend at that time and the boyfriend called the police out of anger. The news source reported that both parties expressed apologetic feelings toward each other.
Previously, Kim Sang Hyuk was arrested for sexual assault on May 29 for grabbing a female civilian’s hand and saying, “Let’s go somewhere,” in a drunken state.
During the investigation, Kim Sang Hyuk told the police that he did not remember anything.
Kim Sang Hyuk was recently discharged from the army on May 16. He was also previously charged of a DUI in 2005, which prompted him to stop all activities.
