Singer Kim Jong Kook has issued a public invitation to Chinese actress Tang Wei for a guest spot in the SBS Sunday variety “Running Man,” in which he is known to be the most competitive cast member. Kim Jong Kook, along with the other “Running Man” cast members Ji Suk Jin, Gary and HaHa were in Hong Kong on July 13 for the “Race Start! Running Man” fan meeting.
In an interview with local media, he was reported to have said, “Tang Wei, I would like to invite you as a guest on ‘Running Man.'”
Tang Wei has become a popular actress in Korea after starring in a co-production film, “Late Autumn,” with Hyun Bin in 2010. The film was screened at the Busan International Film Festival and later premiered in domestic cinemas in February 2011. Tang Wei’s turn as the lonely prison inmate on a three-day leave has won for her the 47th Baeksang Arts Awards for Best Actress in a Film.
