Mark you calendars, Soompiers!

ZE:A will be holding a showcase for its upcoming mini album “Illusion” on August 8, a day ahead of its official comeback, and you will be able to see the boys LIVE right here at Soompi!

This is a great chance for all the fans abroad who are sad that they can’t attend the exclusive showcase! Not only will you have a sneak-peek at their upcoming album, but you’ll get to watch their press conference, the members being themselves backstage as well as their special fan meeting!

This promotion is meaningful for the group as it will be the first time in over two years since all nine members were on stage together. Leader Moon Joon Young was absent from tv promotions because of an ankle injury and other members tried their hand in expanding their resumes with acting in dramas, participating in variety programs, working on music, trying out musicals, and collaborating with other artists.

The boys experiment with different sounds with this mini album. It starts off strong by dipping into new wave music with “Crazy,” incorporating electronic drums and strong rock guitar. Member Kevin helped with the lyrics for “Step by Step,” which is a song about a man throwing out the notion of one-sided love and trying to pursue the girl he desires. R&B number “U’re My Sweety” shows off the members’ sweet vocals and “No.1” takes it back old school with Michael Jackson-inspired vocal techniques. Lets not forget about title track “Ghost of Wind,” which is said to have a house dance as the music’s foundation along with a fantasy element.

Remember to bookmark this page and tune in on August 8 from 2pm (KST) to 7pm (KST)!
