Gummy Sings “Day and Night” for “Master’s Sun” OST


Singer Gummy has contributed a song to the Master’s Sun soundtrack, titled “Day and Night.” The track was released yesterday along with the premiere of the drama. 

Gummy, frequently invited to be part of drama soundtracks, is most recently remembered for her “Snow Flower” from “That Winter the Wind Blows.” She worked with musicians Kim Se Jin and Choi Kap Won for this new release. The team-up is expected to ramp up more excitement for the drama.

In addition, “Master’s Sun” music director Oh Joon Sung is also the person behind other other successful OSTs, such as “Boys Over Flowers,” “Faith” and “City Hunter.” With these credentials working on some of the more well-known dramas, music from “Master’s Sun” is receiving attention.

“Master’s Sun” features So Ji Sub as a cold and selfish shopping mall CEO and Gong Hyo Jin as a woman with the ability to see spirits. Directed by Jin Hyuk (of “City Hunter,” “Prosecutor Princess” and “Brilliant Legacy”), “Master’s Sun” is written by the famed Hong Sisters, Hong Jung Eun and Hong Mi Ran.

The drama premiered on Aug. 7 on SBS, replacing “I Hear Your Voice.”
