After a successful run of their hit song “Growl,” EXO will wrap up promotions for the song this week.
The successful promotion of “Growl” seems well deserved after EXO took an unusually long hiatus from their first mini album to release their first full album. “Growl” is the main track from the group’s first album, “XOXO.” The combined sales of the album and its repackaged reached 740 thousand, a first for K-Pop artists since 2001.
The song hit the top of the music charts and won the coveted triple crown on both “Inkigayo” and “M!Countdown.” The song also won first place on “Music Core” and “Music Bank.” Now the group will perform the song for the last time on those shows.
A representative of SM Entertainment said, “We have special shows lined up in our schedule so you will continue to see EXO’s faces. We have not set a date for an official comeback yet.”
