JYP (Park Jin Young), who made his tenth album comeback, recently recorded his guest appearance on KBS’ “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook,” and during the talk segment, he discussed what he saw as the differences between what are called the three top entertainment agencies in Korea: JYP, YG, and SM Entertainment.
JYP responded, “YG’s style is to follow intuition, while SM prioritizes reason. JYP tries to do both, which is why we are not doing too well.”
What do you think, readers? We recently reported that while YG and SM Entertainment showed massive increase in exports in 2012, JYP dropped over 50% YOY in exports (see full article here). What do you think about Park Jin Young’s analysis of the differences between the three companies?
This episode of “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook” will air September 13.
