SHINee‘s Choi Minho showed his acting abilities in an emotional scene in the drama “Medical Top Team.”

On the November 6 episode of the MBC drama “Medical Top Team,” Minho’s character, Kim Sung Woo, couldn’t hold back his grief when his young patient, who had a crush on him, died. In the episode, the young patient, Yoon Na Yeon (played by Go Won Hee), had to go into surgery after she submitted a tissue transplant application. While the surgery was deemed successful, Yoon Na Yoon’s health suddenly deteriorated and she was in critical condition. Although the members of the top team hurried to her, her heart stopped. Kim Sung woo held on to hope and desperately performed CPR, but despite his efforts, her heart did not start. In the end they had to announce her time of death.

At that moment, Kim Sung Woo said, “I didn’t even get a chance to tell her I’m sorry,” and began to cry as the other top team members could only watch.

However, fellow top team member Choi Ah Jin (Oh Yeon Seo) revealed that she had told Yoon Na Yeon before her surgery that Kim Sung Woo actually did like her, so that Yoon Na Yeon went into surgery knowing how Kim Sung Woo really felt.
