NU’EST to Debut in China as NU’EST-M with New Member

Pledis Entertainment and China’s leading music company YUEHUA Entertainment have joined their forces.

The two are currently working together to prepare for the official debut of NU’EST-M, a boy group targeted specifically at the Chinese market. This venture is gaining attention from music industry people and fans alike, as YUEHUA is known for having numerous influential artists, such as HanGeng, Zhou Bichang, Anson Hu, and A-Do, under their roof. It is also the only major Chinese music enterprise that has established a branch in Korea.

Pledis and YUEHUA will officially launch their partnership at a conference held on November 11 at Beijing Banquet Hall by presenting their business strategy. Artists Son Dam Bi, After School, NU’EST, HanGeng, and Zhou Bichang will also attend the event. In addition, NU’EST-M is set to appear and perform their debut stage on the very same day.

NU’EST-M has been formed by combining the five members of Korean boy group NU’EST and Jason, a popular Chinese idol. The six members will be promoting as a team in China, and they will soon debut with their first single, a Mandarin version of NU’EST’s hit song “Sleep Talking.”

The M added to the name NU’EST symbolizes words marvelous, multiply, and mystic. It also refers to the members’ outstanding talents and charms as well as their fresh and creative music style that will help them become the next top idols.

A representative of Pledis revealed, “We will soon introduce NU’EST-M, the first joint project with YUEHUA. The members of NU’EST and the new addition Jason have shown great team work during practice, so we believe their debut will be successful. In order to make our members’ talent shine and achieve better results in the Chinese market, we have decided to work together with YUEHUA.”

NU’EST-M start their official promotions in all of China after their debut stage at the press conference on November 11.
