Woo Hee, from 6-member girl group Dal Shabet, has released her first solo track.
On November 14, Dal Shabet’s Woo Hee released “Toward Tomorrow,” the title track for Part 1 of the soundtrack for her SNS drama “Infinite Power” on online music sites. The music video for the song consists of behind-the-scenes cuts, as well as messages from the cast of the drama.
“Towards Tomorrow” was composed by singer MIII, with lyrics by Min Yeon Jae, and is a medium tempo track that aims to send a message of hope and looking forward to tomorrow instead of giving up.
Woo Hee has also tried her hand at writing and composing for the first time since debut, having written the song “Maybe” (narrated by Ahn Jae Hyun) off Dal Shabet’s mini-album “Be Ambitious” released in June.
In August, Woo Hee collaborated with Every Single Day, a veteran Korean indie band, featuring in a song titled “Nap” off their album.
Vibe’s Yoon Min Soo is the musical director in charge of the drama’s OST, and part two of the soundtrack is expected to feature 4Men’s Kim Won Joo as well.

Trying her hand at acting for the first time, Woo Hee will play the role of Han Soo Ja in SNS drama “Infinite Power.” Her character is a high school senior who has to take care of household chores, her younger sibling, and boarders residing at her father’s (played by Ahn Nae Sang) boarding house. The drama also stars 2AM’s Seulong, Kim Seul Gi and Choi Hyo Jong.
The drama is based off the the Naver webtoon of the same name, and will air six 10-minute episodes every Tuesday and Thursday, on Samsung Group’s Youtube, blog and Naver TVcast.
