So much to talk about, so little space to write it out in. Despite some really serious issues going on, they didn’t spare some of the cuteness I so love when I watch dramas. So who shined more than some others and who else is saying “I told you so?” to Tan? *raises hand slowly*

More Consequences For Telling the Truth?

I’ll admit that I was so happy that the truth was (FINALLY) revealed about who Tan’s birth mother was, but I was a little scared about the possible repercussions.  We find out from Ji Sook, who is rightfully peeved, that they didn’t cover up Tan’s birth just for the heck of it. It was covered up due to his father’s siblings who are all still upset about getting kicked out and not getting the company; she says he’s still being sued after so long. Tan’s birth was covered up so the company wouldn’t be taken away and other business things I don’t know much about. I know Tan didn’t foresee this because he looked surprised at hearing the news, but I was expecting a better response than what she got.

Ki Ae Uses Eun Sang As Tanny Bait

Oh goodness it’s so hard to choose just one Han Ki Ae moment or scene, this woman is seriously hilarious. I love how she went to use Eun Sang as bait to see her son and then asked her to come home. It was more than just for her son, you can see she actually cares about Eun Sang like she’s her own daughter. Ki Ae’s personality is somewhat like Bo Na’s where they think they’re meaner than they really are. Both have kind hearts despite what they try to show. Ki Ae is doing her best because she doesn’t want her son to suffer from her own mistakes.

Chan Young and Bo Na Fight…

상속자들.E13.131120.HDTV.H264.720p-HANrel.avi_001612579 상속자들.E14.131121.HDTV.H264.720p-HANrel.avi_000409876

Stemming from Ye Sol telling Bo Na that Eun Sang may steal him and he’s too lower class for her, Rachel outing Ye Sol’s secret and then tricking Bo Na into sitting at the “charity case” table (Like what we saw Young Do do in earlier episodes). Bo Na was clearly upset, not at the fact that Chan Young is a charity case, but at Ye Sol insulting her about being too good for her boyfriend, though Chan Young think she’s embarrassed. She’s offended at his statement and walks off. Then we witness them avoiding each other and Bo Na feigning an injury to get his attention. He keeps on walking and smiles, but tells Eun Sang later that Bo Na was being so cute. He says it was hard for him to keep walking.

…Chan Young and Bo Na Make Up

Can’t talk about their fight without including their make up. After telling Chan Young to make up with her before someone steals ‘pretty Bo Na’, Eun Sang is with her and Hyo Shin in the broadcasting room waiting on Bo Na to give the announcements. She’s whining/asking Eun Sang if she told Chan Young how sorry she is and how she’s repenting despite Hyo Shin telling her to stop talking. He then turns on the mic (she’s in the broadcasting booth) so Chan Young can hear. Bo Na says that she can’t breathe without him and he’s her air, she feels like she’s in outer space. He hears this and looks for her, but she’s mortified and thinks he’s about to break up with her so she runs away with him chasing her. Hyo Shin quips that he would have never done that if he knew that was coming. We then see Bo Na handing out invitations to their party for making up. She’s excited despite Young Do telling her it’s embarrassing. At the party they’re being congratulated for making up and they’re all cutesy together. Makes me despise being single sometimes.

Young Do and His Heartbreak

Well, he’s officially been rejected and he takes it like any tough 18-year-old…he vows to torture everyone else but her and that includes himself. Goodness it was just sad seeing him just lay around or to looks so depressed. It’s his first time feeling genuine love for someone, he’s just confused and makes stupid decisions. We can see he finally gets it, but still tells Eun Sang that she can call him if she needs to, knowing she won’t. I am hoping she will one day just make his day brighter. Young Do-ah, don’t be sad. You can lean on my shoulder.

Hyo Shin’s Mom Is Scary

상속자들.E13.131120.HDTV.H264.720p-HANrel.avi_002008375 상속자들.E13.131120.HDTV.H264.720p-HANrel.avi_002010977

We’ve seen how his family is and how his mother pays little to no attention to him, but this is our first time seeing him break down. Hyo Shin is at home when his mom walks in with a suit for his college interview, he missed it when he was out all night with Tan so Mommy Dearest pulls some strings as the wife of the Attorney General to get him in. He’s upset that she’s abusing their position and yells that he doesn’t know if he can live, she scoffs saying his threats to his life have no affect on her. then says she’s helping him not give up on himself. Needless to say, he went to the interview and pretty much stated that he never applied before despite his mother’s fake medical story. Next he goes to his entrance exam, but we don’t see him go in the gates. Hmmm, wonder if he actually goes…

Tan and Eun Sang Cuteness

I couldn’t leave out their relationship moments now that they’re official together. Their new found relationship consists of constant hand holding and back hugs. I think the most defining moment is the beginning of episode 13 when Eun Sang just hugs Tan while on her tip toes. He doesn’t answer her why he’s crying, but she just goes in for it. She actually smiled quite a bit this week; she looked happier than she’d been in a long time. Guess having Kim Tan as your boyfriend does have its perks 😉

I Still Love MyungBoYoung

상속자들.E14.131121.HDTV.H264.720p-HANrel.avi_001662462 상속자들.E14.131121.HDTV.H264.720p-HANrel.avi_001876409

Yes, that’s my nickname for this trio and I will stick with it. As I’ve said before, they have a very good friendship with Myung Soo and Bo Na not being afraid to tell Young Do how it is. He actually responds to them in a non hostile way and sometimes acknowledges when they’re right. Myung Soo tells him what many have been thinking: If Eun Sang isn’t his first love, then Tan is. Ha! Then gives scenarios that usually end up with Young Do giving himself a sad ending. This is something to take note of. One of my favorite moments is when Bo Na hands him her party invitation and he scoffs at it. He starts off with “Oppa is telling you this because I care..” and tells her that it’s just a way of saying you’re an idiot. Bo Na takes back her invitation. Haha!

One liner of the Week: “How can you be as fast as LTE wireless?” – Han Ki Ae to Park Hee Nam when the latter is writing a list of things to know for the new maid. Haha Ki Ae acts like she’s been dumped.

Last Week’s Question: What do you think Hyo Shin is planning? Here is asiiatdu82‘s answer: “I really don’t want to see it but I’m pretty sure he is going to commit suicide and this time, he will succeed. Just the thought of it breaks my heart. Even though the writer doesn’t spend a lot of time on this character, we’ve got glimpse of his life, how much pressure his family put on him, how all his juniors respect him and how talented he is as a film director. I don’t want him to end like this. It will be tragic and unfair for his character. Somehow, he may be able to enroll in a film school and run away from his family but I don’t think this is what he wants. I think he wants his family to accept him the way he is because this is the only way he will be in peace with himself.”

This week’s question is less angsty (and it’s a poll!). The winner will be posted next week.

Until we meet again next week! Thanks for reading and don’t forget to to come visit us at the Official Soompi “The Heirs” Thread.
