Girls’ Generation‘s YoonA is returning to the silver screen via KBS 2TV’s new Monday-Thursday drama “Prime Minister and I,” and her Chinese fans are taking it to the next level with their active promotion of YoonA’s drama.
Photos of YoonA’s “Prime Minister and I” posters adorning supermarket trolleys were uploaded on the forum of an online community recently. These photos are said to be the work of YoonA’s Chinese fans, as part of their promotion strategy and show of support for YoonA.
Their advertisements can be found in Seongsu, Cheonggyecheon and Yeongdeungpo E-mart stores in Seoul, outlets of the hypermart chain that see an especially large volume of customers.
“Prime Minister and I” is a romantic comedy that tells the story of the prime minister’s family who get a new mother to fill the empty spot. YoonA plays a third-rate reporter, Nam Da Jung, who becomes the new wife to Prime Minister Kwon Yul (Lee Bum Soo).
The first episode of “Prime Minister and I” airs on December 9 at 10:00 PM KST on KBS.
