Girl group f(x)‘s quirky and unique style has charmed the staff of American media portal Fuse!
On December 18, Fuse revealed the 41 must-listen albums of year 2013, picked by the influential television network’s employees. As the only Korean representative, f(x) and their second full-length album “Pink Tape” made the list. Reasons for choosing the album include it’s experimental sound and great variety of genres, not to mention the mix of creative English and Korean lyrics. The staff member also recommended “skeptical listeners” to check out “Rum Pum Pum Pum” and “Airplane” off the album, two quite different tracks that demonstrate the amazing range of “Pink Tape.”
Rest of the list includes hot and even legendary names such as Justin Timberlake, Kanye West, John Legend, A$AP Rocky, and Paramore. For f(x) to make it despite the undoubtedly tough competition proves that the group’s fresh music style appeals also to the international crowd.
Congratulations to the girls for the fabulous achievement!
