On February 12, Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung posted a message on the Girls’ Generation official website titled, “From. Sooyoung SONE Always Deserves Better.”
Sooyoung wrote, “It’s finally the day of Girls’ Generation’s comeback announcement.”
“I know many of our fans have been saying you missed us, you wanted to see us, you wanted to see us right now, to you just want us to come out. You guys are deserving of so much more, and we wanted to express our gratitude in some way, but I guess it wasn’t easy for us because we didn’t know where to start. These days, I’ve been realizing how important it is to be more ‘polite’ to the people who are closer to us.”
Sooyoung explained Girls’ Generation’s late comeback saying, “I think the other members’ efforts to connect with all of you through their SNS helped in filling the void of our one-year hiatus. We think it’s important to present you with better music and a better performance. And because you trusted us and waited patiently, we wanted to take more time and prepare perfectly. SONE should only see the best. It’s the only thing you guys deserve. All of you are worthy of the best and even more.”
Sooyoung ended her message with, “Starting today, every day is Girls’ Generation Day! Let’s go together! See you soon.” Sooyoung posted a photo of herself along with her message. She shows her natural beauty with playful poses.
Meanwhile, the members of Girls’ Generation released a preview of their new mini album, “Mr. Mr.” on February 10. The album will release on February 19.
