Super Junior, Super Junior-M, and Henry Win ‘Korea-Japan Top Album Sales’ at the IFPI Hong Kong Top Sales Music Awards

Super Junior, Super Junior-M, and Henry all won the award for “Korea-Japan Top Album Sales” at the IFPI (International Federation of the Phonographic Industry) Hong Kong Top Sales Music Awards” held at the TVB Studio in Hong Kong on March 1.

Super Junior won the award for their “Super Junior World Tour Super Show 4” live album, Super Junior-M for their second album “Break Down” (Korean Ver.), and Henry for his first mini album “Trap.”

The IFPI Hong Kong Top Sales Music Awards started in 2001, and has since been held annually. Among the albums listed with the IFPI, the one that has the top number of sales for the year takes the prize. This year’s award ceremony recognized the albums that were released in 2013, and awards were given in a total of 17 categories. In addition to Henry, some of the great artists that attended the show included Yung Cho Yee and Alan Tam.

Upon receiving the award of top album sales for “Trap,” Henry said, “I’m so thankful for this award, and I’d especially like to thank my fans. I want to invite all of you to some dim sum.”
