Jackie Chan’s K-Pop Group, JJCC (Double JC), Unveils All Five Members

World action star Jackie Chan has finally unveiled all five members of his very own K-Pop group named  JJCC (Double JC).

The five members are SimBa, E.co, EDDY, San-Cheong, and Prince Mak. The first four members are Korean, while Prince Mak is a Chinese Australian citizen. The leader is SimBa, and both he and E.co used to be models. They will be in charge of rap. EDDY has already made his TV debut through the cooking survival audition program “Master Chef Korea.” In addition to his cooking skills, he also boasts completion of Jackie Chan’s stunt education. San-Cheong is the youngest and is from Daegu, and Prince Mak placed first on a Chinese music survival audition program. All members are in their 20s and are over 180cm tall.

The group is managed by The Jackie Chan Group Korea, which stated, “All the members have rap, vocal, and songwriting skills, as well as various dance skills such as popping, b-boying, and ballet. They also are able to speak in three languages- English, Chinese, and Korean. Please look forward to more from JJCC, which hopes to represent Asia through each member’s unique talents coming together for a good synergistic effect.”

JJCC are expected to debut in the middle of March.

What are your thoughts on the group so far? Do you think they will be able to differentiate themselves from other K-Pop groups?

What's so wrong with a Chinese National managing a Korean Idol Group?  There are a number of producers and entertainment groups in the U.S. and in Europe with executives who are in charge that are of a different ethnicity than the artists they are managing. If you're only making judgment based on this criteria, clearly your are biased and probably a racist. Jackie Chan is not new to the music industry. He has been singing for a number of years in China with a well documented music catalog under his belt. Coming from a country that has a population of over 3.1 trillion people in it, don't be so naive to think that he is only known for his silly comedic films that were made in Hollywood. If you did your research you'll find that during the past 40 years Jackie Chan has filmed well over 150 movies... some were bad, but a lot more that were and are very good.

It has been well documented on a couple of South Korean variety shows that Jackie Chan had lived for awhile in South Korea. He stated that that he loved its people and culture and it was one of his favorite places to visit. Additionally, there have been a number of Jackie's movies where he has integrated South Korean actors into the cast. So what's the big deal about him managing a Korean Idol Group?

If you research his life, you'll discover that not only is he proud to be a Chinese National but that he is much more than just being an actor. He has donated millions of his own money to help fund disaster relief throughout his country, Taiwan and Japan and has supported countless children through his Foundation. Have nothing to do... then look up some of his films that were made within the last 10 years or so and you'll discover there's more to his acting than the silly kung-fu antics that have been showcased in Hollywood.

@toomuchsmiling Well what's the difference when you have idol groups that give themselves American names that they can't even pronounce let alone spell.  The fact that these young men are well versed in Chinese, Korean and English, speaks volume.  Jackie Chan is too much of a businessman and has been in the movie and music industry too long to place his name and reputation on a bunch of no talent singers. I'm sure that they will do just fine considering that everyday there seems to be new idol groups popping up and not all of them are talented. If you can't sing live and have to sing off of a track, that only means you can't sing well.  And if you have to appear on stage half naked only means that your talent must be very limited.
