When two top models from different countries get together, what could they possibly talk about? Of course none other than fashion and the prospective models that are under their supervision. On March 30, Tyra Banks was visited by Korean model Jang Yoon Joo in the “America’s Next Top Model” host’s Korean hotel. As Tyra Banks had been in Korea filming for “America’s Next Top Model Season 21,” it was pleasantly surprising to see the American model interact with the Korean model.
While Tyra Banks was in Korea for the filming of her hit reality show, Jang Yoon Joo visited Tyra for the new season of OnStyle‘s “Challenge Super Model Korea.” As Jang Yoon Joo gave a welcoming gift to Tyra, the two models hit it off well, joking and discussing about their reality show. Furthermore, Jang Yoon Joo asked Tyra to look over the contestants of “Challenge Super Model Korea,” receiving advice and opinions from the former Victoria Secret model. Moreover, as Tyra had previously hosted a unisex season on “America’s Next Top Model Season 20,” Jang Yoon Joo was able to receive advice for the upcoming season of “Challenge Super Model Korea.” With the Korean reality show having a season with both guy and girl models for the first time in its show’s history, the Korean model was able to receive much needed advice from Tyra who had already experienced such format change.
The image of the two models enjoying a friendly chat displayed how fashion has no cultural boundaries. The upcoming season of “Challenge Super Model Korea GUYS & GIRLS” received a total of 2,300 applicants, with 1,300 of those applicants being prospective male models. The special edition of the show will start its broadcast in July.
