Chu Sung Hoon’s daughter Chu Sarang is taking the 2014 CF (commercial film) world by storm!
After joining KBS 2TV’s “Superman Returns” in November of last year, Chu Sung Hoon and Sarang have been busy signing CF contracts.
This father-daughter duo took their first step into the CF world last December with a commercial for a mobile carrier. Now, they are signed for 10 different advertisement deals including baby toiletries, dairy products, ramen, home-study materials, camera, a pharmaceutical company, and even social commerce. Sarang has also become a juice brand model without the participation of her dad.
Their most recent deal was with Nikon, whose representative stated, “We chose Chu Sung Hoon and Sarang to be our models because we believe their warm and lovely charms are a good match for our brand’s image. The way they record and share happy memories through a camera will especially be relatable for many fathers out there.”
Chu Sarang’s contract fee is considerably high. Although there is a difference between Sarang and top stars like Kim Soo Hyun and Jun Ji hyun, she is still being contracted for approximately the same annual 200 million won (~$200,000 USD) that many other actors receive.
The biggest reasons that Sarang is in such high demand for CFs are due to her recent popularity, refreshing personality, and exceptionable charms that no one else can match.
In other news, the Chu family recently donated 50 million won (~$50,000 USD) to the Sewol Ferry victims.
