EXO is garnering interest in the music industry as fans are waiting for their highly-anticipated comeback.
The group’s comeback with their mini album “Overdose” was initially set for April 21, however, in light of the Sewol Ferry incident, the release was tentatively postponed.
However, it is getting harder to push the comeback any further. EXO will be having their very first solo concert on May 24 – 25 at the Seoul Olympic Gymnastics Stadium. The ideal situation for the group would be to promote their comeback during the second week of May before meeting their fans for the concert.
A representative of a music site said, “Other groups besides EXO have also confirmed their comeback dates. Songs are expected to be out by next week.”
Also, a representative from SM Entertainment revealed, “It is true that EXO is hoping to comeback next week.”
In order for comebacks to occur, music programs must return to television. The three major music programs have not yet officially decided when they will resume broadcasting. However, it is looking like they will proceed as normal starting next week.
