IU Turns Into a Heartbroken Lover for “My Old Story” Comeback MV

IU has made her anticipated comeback with “Flower Bookmark” and the title track “My Old Story!”

While the album was released at midnight, the music video was unveiled through 1theK’s YouTube channel on May 16 at noon.

“My Old Story” is a remake of veteran singer Cho Duk Bae‘s hit song from the 1980s. To fit the mood of the song, IU has transformed from the sweet young lady of “Good Day” and “Red Shoes” to an aspiring lover of actor Choi Woo Shik, showcasing a more mature side of her charms.

In addition to the title track, IU has put her special touches on Kim Gwang Suk‘s “Flower,” Kim Wan Sun‘s “A Clown Laughing at Us,” Lee Mun Se‘s “When My Love,” Sanulrim‘s “Your Meaning,” Kim Hyun Sik‘s “Summer Night Dream,” and Clon’s “Kung Ddari Sha Bah Rah.”

Just 12 hours after its release, “My Old Story” can be seen topping the charts Melon, Genie, MNet, Monkey3, Bugs, Naver Music, Soribada, and other major online music stores.
